Remote Sensing (Remote Sensing (ISSN 2072-4292,Impact Factor: 5.349 (2021)) is now a prominent international journal of repute in the world of remote sensing and spatial sciences, as a pioneer and pathfinder in open access format. It has highly accomplished global remote sensing scientists on the editorial board and a dedicated team of associate editors. The journal emphasizes quality and novelty and has a rigorous peer-review process. It is now one of the top remote sensing journals with a significant Impact Factor, and a goal to become the best journal in remote sensing in the coming years. I strongly recommend Remote Sensing for your best research publications for a fast dissemination of your research.

Founded in 2012, Cubert still is the sole manufacturer of true hyperspectral video cameras using light field technology. Our cameras find applications in environmental monitoring, UAV-based remote sensing for precision farming, industrial quality control, such as determining the ripeness of fruits during the delivery process, and non-invasive life sciences and biomedical imaging, making them an ideal tool for clinical diagnosis and monitoring of diseases.

Cubert offers off-the-shelf hyperspectral video cameras, spectral imaging software for different platforms, a full software development kit (SDK) for system builders, tailored product customization, and application and integration support.

Spectricon was founded in 2016 with the mission of inventing, developing and marketing game-changing
solutions in hyperspectral Imaging and in multimodal high throughput microscopy. The Company has
succeeded to develop a topnotch pipeline of tunable filter-based and snapshot hyperspectral imaging
systems, removing the trade-off of traditional push-broom technologies and expanding their use from
desktop to field/hand-held applications.
Spectricon has also succeeded to develop the world’s first high-throughput screening microscope
operating, in a fully automated fashion, in a long list of novel imaging modalities. Both hyperspectral
imagers and multimodal high throughput microscopy add several new dimensions of information.
Integrated machine learning/AI-based software platforms exploit the acquired, information-rich image
data set to provide chemical and composition mapping, non-destructively in a long list of demanding

EUFAR, The European Facility for Airborne Research in Environmental and Geosciences brings together infrastructure operators of both instrumented research aircraft and remote-sensing instruments with the scientific user community, both expert and early-stage researchers, other data users and stakeholders.

EUFAR has existed since 2000 for the purpose of linking the airborne environmental research community (both facility operators and scientific users) in Europe. A major part of its activity has been to use funding from EC Framework Programs to support Transnational Access. Around 120 flight campaigns, each benefiting a separate user group, have been supported where the users did not normally have access to appropriate airborne observing facilities through their national research funding. Other successful outcomes have included joint research activities focussed on the development of improved data quality and standards, the organization of summer schools where student groups have obtained hands-on experience in airborne research topics and the publication of a textbook on airborne measurements for environmental research.

In 2018, EUFAR was established as an AISBL – an international not-for-profit association under Belgian law. This is supported by its member organisations (currently 14 from 9 countries) with the leading objective to maintain EUFAR as a central point of contact for scientists who require airborne observations to support their research. Its membership includes organisations that are leaders in the operation and use of research aircraft and instrumentation, both in terms of in-situ atmospheric measurements and the use of imaging and other remote-sensing techniques for the study of the Earth’s surface.
