Sen Jia

Short Bio:
Sen Jia received the B.E. and Ph.D. degrees from the College of Computer Science, Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China, in 2002 and 2007, respectively. He is currently a Distinguished Professor at College of Computer Science and Software Engineering, Shenzhen University, China, and he has been with Shenzhen University since 2008.

He was elevated to IEEE Senior Member status in 2017. His research interests include artificial intelligence, machine learning and hyperspectral image processing. Prof. Jia is an Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing (since 2022) and was an Associate Editor for the IEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observations and Remote Sensing (2017-2020). He was distinguished as a Best Reviewer of the IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing twice (2017 and 2019), and also a Best Reviewer of the IEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observations and Remote Sensing (in 2014).
