Since 2018, HAIP Solutions GmbH, a young tech company from Hanover (Germany), has been working in the development of user-oriented hyperspectral imaging (HSI) camera solutions.
The products based on spectral technology are used in the fields of plant breeding, agriculture and forestry, food industry, geology and recycling. HAIP Solutions team strongly believe that spectral imaging can contribute to making the earth a more sustainable planet.
We want to make it as easy and intuitive as possible for the users of our products to be able to enjoy and use hyperspectral technology. Since the start of our company, we have been working intensively with partners from various fields to put the user at the centre of our solutions.
The product portfolio ranges from UAV-based cameras, to handheld devices or industrial-grade, next generation hyperspectral cameras.

Spectral Evolution specializes in high-end UV-Vis-NIR spectrometers & spectroradiometers designed, manufactured, and serviced at our facility in Haverhill, Massachusetts, USA.
Our state-of-the-art, field-portable instruments are rugged & reliable instruments making them the preferred solution for a variety of studies worldwide including, remote sensing, mineral identification, & radiometric calibration.

SILIOS Technologies is a French high-tech company, specialized in micro-optical technologies. With more than 24 years long experience in clean room manufacturing process, phase components design and manufacturing and image sensor functionalization, SILIOS Technologies has developed three lines of products which are diffractive optics, multispectral filters, sensors & cameras and QLSI (Quadriwave Lateral Shearing Interferometry) Wavefront Imaging sensors & cameras.
Among the Hyper/Multispectral Imaging technologies, SILIOS Technologies offers its COLOR SHADES® technology based on the hybridization of a passive Bayer Matrix like multispectral filter on a pixelated sensor. This technology allows SILIOS Technologies to propose Synchronous Snapshot solutions as well as sequential Pushbroom ones.
SILIOS Technologies develops and manufactures off-the shelf as well as on-demand custom multispectral VIS, VIS/NIR and SWIR sensors and cameras with snapshot or pushbroom configurations. Aside from the currently unrivaled VIS+NIR TOUCAN (400-900nm) and of our 1.3 Mpix SWIR CICADA (1100-1700nm) cameras, custom VIS+NIR+SWIR sensors have been recently achieved.
Some of the last achievements are VIS/NIR cameras for early detection of diseases in plants, vegetables and fruits, snapshot VIS/NIR and SWIR spatialized sensors on board of a lunar rover for geology, pushbroom VIS/NIR spatialized sensors on board of MicroSats for Environmental application, VIS/NIR and SWIR snapshots cameras for Decamouflage or Laser Warning Detectors, VIS/NIR snapshot cameras for surgery assistance, endoscopy and early cancer detection and SWIR camera for foreign component detection in industrial production.
Last but not least, SILIOS Technologies has been awarded by the French government as Lauréat of the « France 2030 – 1ere usine » program to support the company in the construction of its “MSI Factory” with a clean room dedicated to the high-volume production of multispectral filters.

The National Space Science and Technology Center (NSSTC) was established in 2016 through the strategic support of UAE University and the UAE Space Agency, with a clear mandate to advance the UAE’s capabilities in Earth Observation and Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) technologies. NSSTC leads the design, development, and operation of advanced satellite missions that align with national priorities.
At the heart of NSSTC’s mission is a leadership-driven strategic mindset that focuses on bridging academia and industry — accelerating innovation while ensuring the development of local expertise in high-technology sectors. The Center provides hands-on access to real space missions, empowering students, researchers, and engineers to contribute directly to mission success.
NSSTC also operates the UAE’s only comprehensive Assembly, Integration, and Testing (AIT) facility, enabling the country to build, test, and qualify space systems in-house. Flagship missions such as Satellite 813 and the LEONAV LEO-PNT demonstrator reflect NSSTC’s growing role in building national capability and contributing to global space innovation.
At Spectricon, our purpose is to innovate towards advancing mainstream technologies of
hyperspectral imaging, while at the same time making them simple, portable and smart. Our
consistent belief, and source of inspiration, is that a wealth of new benefits to our society is still
to come by further developing this fascinating technology along this direction.
Besides further developing mainstream aspects of hyperspectral imaging, we combine its
principles with fluorescence, polarimetry/birefringence analytical techniques and with robotic
engineering to automate analyses of massive sample populations. We have invented and
patented novel multimodal, fully automated, high content screening concepts and microscopes
for a variety of demanding applications.
Our company has received several distinctions for its accomplishments. For example, our
SMMART hyperspectral, multimodal microscope for forensic traces identification and
enumeration has been ranked first in a pan-European tender and has achieved several
installations in leading European forensics institutes. We have also achieved several installations
of our spectral cameras in high profile institutions in USA, Europe and Asia.
Spectricon was founded in 2016 by Prof. Costas Balas. The team has more than a century of
cumulative experience in developing innovative and commercially successful hyperspectral
imaging cameras, systems and high-profile applications.
